A Family Legacy in Dentistry:
Dentistry runs in Dr. Nam’s family. Both his father and grandfather were dentists, and he happens to be the first generation to practice here in the United States. He followed their path toward oral healthcare because he loved the vital craft of designing smiles. Being able to transform someone’s well-being directly with his hands is fantastic!
Passion for Oral Healthcare:
To Dr. Nam, dentistry is a calling to protect, restore, and maintain the oral health of his clients. Dr. Nam is a highly proactive and skilled dentist with over 12 years of experience in dental practice in oral rehabilitation and surgeries. He has over four years of experience as a faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Education and Academic Background:
Dr. Nam’s academic background includes a B.A. (Biology Major) from Washington University in Saint Louis and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California Dental School (USC).
Specialized Training and Certifications:
Dr. Nam’s early training includes Periodontics Internships at USC Dental School and Oral Surgery Externships at Seoul National University Dental School. He is Harvard School of Dentistry Dental Implant Certified, has completed the Academy of Orthodontics, and is a member of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association.
Expertise in Dentistry:
Dr. Nam is an expert in all aspects of dentistry, including complex implant cases and fixing failed implants, cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and non-prep veneers, braces, clear invisible braces, and general dentistry. Further, he is proficient in prosthetic fittings, root canals, dentures, inlays, and onlays, among other dental treatments.
Leadership and Contributions to the Dental Field:
A visionary leader in the medical field, Dr. Nam has served on the secretariat of the World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery (WAUPS) for over eight years. Today, he is widely considered one of the leading dental practitioners in the U.S. Dr. Nam leverages his excellent people-relation and outstanding communication skills to create a cohesive working environment and spearhead a customer-oriented approach to providing an optimal patient experience.
